As of first step we will try resetting printing system and then we will redownload your printer drivers.
What is the version of your Mac ?
for example: 10.5.x, 10.6.x etc.

As of first step we will try to clean the printhead from the printer's control panel.
From the control panel go to the home screen > then touch the Right Arrow > then  touch the Setup icon.
Then touch Tools > Clean Printhead . The printer cleans the printhead, and then prints a test page.
If it doesn't make any difference to your problem in first try, I will suggest you to go for 3 tries.
Tell me how it goes!
