Freddy,

Thanks for your help.  I'll remember that in the future.

Printing blank pages is what gets the excess toner off the roller, otherwise you would need to use compressed air in an open space to clean it out fully. If you have any questions at all click on reply to expert and let me know. If not please don’t forget to leave a positive rating for my help - it is greatly appreciated.

Seems to be better.  Does that procedure clean the roller?

Ok repeat the steps again, it can sometimes take up to 3 times before you see a proper improvement.
Running the 3 blank prints through also gets it to remove any small bits you may not be able to get to.

yellow toner on the paper seems to be dissipated except on the right margin of the paper.

Turn the machine off and unplug it.
Then hold down any button for about 30 seconds.
Plug it back in and turn it on.
If you get the same error remove and reinsert the yellow cartridge.

OK it is possible the old cartridge was leaking and there is still excess toner that leaked out inside the machine.
This could make it appear like the new cartridge is also leaking.
Remove all the ink from the machine and then using a lint free cloth clean all the toner inside of it.
You will want to do this until you can get no more out of the machine, then reinsert the cartridges and print out 3 blank prints, after that test it normally.
If this did not work, please come back and let me know what happened when you tried it by clicking on reply to expert so we can continue.
If it did work, please don’t forget to leave a positive rating - it is greatly appreciated.

CARTRIDGE IS FAIRLY NEW AND LEAKING DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THIS CARTRIDGE.  HAVE HAD PROBLEMS
WITH YELLOW LEAKING BEFORE REPLACING WITH THIS CARTRIDGE.
