What do fusers do for a printer ?

Laser printers use fusers to literally fuse the toner into the paper fibers of the paper using heat & pressure. Toner is typically a polymer plastic powder that is melted by the fuser's heat and pressed into the paper fibers by the rollers of the fuser. Failure of the fuser to work properly can cause smudges, poor print quality, repeat images, toner not fused to the paper & is easily wiped off, paper jams, etc...
