So I am trying to setup a Tosh EStudio 190F. The customer wants to be able to fax from the PC. We went through all of the setup steps and they can print to the device as if it was a normal printer. They can fax from the device directly. But when they try to send a fax from the PC, the PC FAX Device Locator states it cannot find the device. We have tried to reinstall the software, the user is an administrator on the PC, the antivirus software is off, the exceptions have been made on the firewall, and they are not blocking any ports on the network. I went back through the steps and found that we have not set the Relay XMT Password or set the Relay XMT Report=OFF. When I go to the machine and get into the Fax Parameters menu (Function 7, 4) I do not have those options. From the computer I see the options but they are grayed out. Help, they are really counting on being able to fax from about 12 PCs to the machine.

Although the e-STUDIO190F client CD comes standard with the Document Fax desktop faxing software program, this feature will not function unless the customer has also purchased the GM-4090 Network Scan Module.
When setting up the desktop fax function, several settings must be configured on the 190F and these settings must also be mirrored in the Properties tab of the Device Locator portion of the Document Fax program. Refer to page 144 in the Operator's Manual for Document Management System and Printer (P/N OME060075A0 V01) for the settings that need to be modified. Detailed configuration of the software is found on pages 147-154.
