Hello everyone,

I own a Printmaster QM 46 , from 1999.
I came across a problem that no one here in Israel managed to resolve and so therefore I'm approaching you guys.
On the Board (part number: TRM2.3  00.781.3926) there is a part, Type CM15TF-12H (S05AA2).
This part constantly burns out, I have had to replace it 3 times over the last year.  The first time after 6 months, the second after 3 months and the last time after one month.
I have attached a picture of the part, that might help.
Can anyone help?

Thanks!
Ofer

Hi Swift, thank you for your reply! I do not get power spikes.  The attached pictures are of the board and the power supply that provides power to the board.  I checked the power supply for 5 minures and it was stable, there were no fluctuations.  So the question is, is this something that happens after a long time, the part burns?

I agree with Swifty. Power is probably fluctuating. If you trace from the power input to that part you will probably find it is the least tolerant of power fluctuations.

do you get power spikes? what is the voltage at the power supply?
Rossio, how can you say the press is unreliable? Our 1999 QM46 press has never let us down!!! only regular maintenance!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ofer,

sorry to say that, but QM46 were not very reliable. Too much electronics. Guess meanwhile it´s easier and cheaper collecting three presses to fit one.
Cheers Rossio
