Is Precision Color basically the only/best 3rd party ink to get for pro-100? Any ebay deals to be had from larger capacity carts like with Epsons?
Thanks
-- hide signature --1. D800 is the first camera with resolution so high that it simply does not matter.
2. Most people who do not own/shoot d800 misunderstand it. Color depth and accuracy in addition to resolution is what makes d800 great. Resolution alone is over rated.

I'm going to reopen this thread, because the question is still relevant. A search finds some alternatives, including
R-Jettek (OCP?--expensive)
ND (Nano Digital) http://www.amazon.com/ND-Refill-CLI-42-PRO-100-Syringes/dp/B00HN0GVKS
DuraFIRM http://refillbay.com/inkjet-printer-refills/canon-pixma-pro-100.php?id=bulk-ink-60ml&ref=ADWPR-rk&gclid=CI2o3M2ElsICFQisaQodBKIAsg
OctoInkjet http://www.octoink.co.uk/products/Canon-Pro%252d100-Starter-Refill-Kit.html
Unfortunately, I have little information on quality of any of these.

In North America? Yes

None. Refilling OEM with the only proven ink set ( as of yet ) is the only option I would ever consider.
No other CANON large format printer used Dye inks compatible to the PRO-100 so no, there is not a similar Large Format Cart source for inks.

Thanks.
How is the shelf life of PC inks? Any gotchas other than the yellow cart to know about?
