I have a new dell 17in lap top. I can not figure out how to scan and send in an e-mail on my canon mp navigator ex 5.0. Is there a way I can get a step by step answer on how to do it?

Hi,
Summary of steps to email scanned file or any file:
Go to your email, then click on Compose near the top (or reply to a message)Click on Add attachments near the top.Click on Browse...Browse to the folder path / location you want.
(For scanned files, it's in Pictures -> MP Navigator EX -> subfolder.)Select the file you want, then click on Open.Click on Done at the bottom.Write subject and body of message.Click on Send.

I got to the open files found my file and could get no further. You will be in at 3pm my time. Lets try remote about 3:15 my time. 12:15 yours

Great. Now, go to your email, then create a new message (or reply to a message)
, then click on the paper clip icon or Attach option near the top
, then click on Choose Files
, then browse to/select your scanned file, then click on Open
, then click on ATTACH
, then select your contact(s)/email address(es), and write subject/body
, then Send.



If you are stuck at any step, or if you'd like to, I can connect remotely to your computer, and show you directly how to email scanned files.  If it's okay with you, I'm available from 12pm noon pacific time tomorrow until midnight.

I'm sorry about the issue.

Does your new laptop have windows 7 or 8 or 8.1, etc.?Are you able to print on the new computer?What email do you use, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, etc.? What program do you use for email, i.e. Internet Explorer, Outlook, etc.?Don't try emailing yet. Are you able to scan yet?Open the MP Navigator EX program on your new computer, then scan, then let me know what happens.
