How do I get my printer to work on Windows Vista? It is not compatible any more. :(?

Ah sorry, ignore this question.
Windows Vista is so brilliant, it has an automatic update thing where it can somehow replace the drivers and install the software without even needing a disk :)

these are problems people are having. anyone who has vista is in too big of a hurry to get the new stuff. there isn't anything for drivers till the software company comes out with the software to work with vista. basically you are screwed till they make them availible for vista. check the printer manurfacturer for vista drivers.

you should have waited to get windows vista since many things won't be compatible with it until the companies make it compatible.  Usually things directly form Microsoft will be compatible with vista when it is released

Well, now you know some of the problems with Vista. People rushed to buy this, but the peripheral equipment people are still working on drivers for their equipment. Many of the software sources I've researched say their drivers won't be ready until after March 1. Look on your printer's website and see if they have an updated driver for Vista.
